Half bad by Sally green

This book and it's sequel is without doubt in my top 5.  A fantastic story of a young boy Nathan discovering who he is and where he belongs. More to the point though it's about what he's capable of.  As suggested in the title half bad,  is Nathan bad or is he good? . His mother a white witch and his father a powerful dark witch the council are anticipating Nathan is capable of great things.. Dangerous things.
Nathan story grabs you from start to finish, I never put it down.
The only downfall to this book was waiting for the sequel.. Half wild.
Both books ending in cliffhangers leaving you wishing away the next year of your life waiting for the next one... :)
